Get Involved with CCF
CCF supports prisoners in a variety of ways. By educating the public about the abusive tactics used in the War on Terror, we endeavor to protect communities from becoming targeted in manufactured cases. In our early interventions, we encourage people NOT to speak to the FBI. In the unfortunate event that a preemptive arrest is made, CCF is there to identify the unjust nature of the case and serve as a resource for families to challenge the government’s narrative.

CCF prides itself in advocating alongside family members on behalf of their incarcerated loved ones and in listening and responding to the immediate needs of those who are directly affected. We organize year-round programs for impacted families, including an annual conference, monthly virtual meetings, mental health workshops, advocacy and media trainings, help with locating resources and communicating with the prison in response to concerns about safety and treatment.

Advocate With CCF
CCF has seen that a strong defense takes place both inside and outside of the courtroom. Our experience has shown that building a grassroots campaign around cases, organizing community members to attend trials and hearings, and demonstrating outside of the courthouse in support of fairness and justice for defendants can lead to a victory in the case.

Incarceration creates a significant financial burden on prisoners and their families. With most services and operations being outsourced to predatory for-profit companies, prisoners are charged outrageous prices to make phone calls, send emails, and purchase basic essentials like hygiene products and supplemental food.
If you’d like to help ease the financial burden of a political prisoner, sponsor a prisoner today.
Become a PenPal
One of the most meaningful ways to support a prisoner is to write to them.

Prison can be an isolating and lonely place for prisoners, especially ones serving lengthy sentences and kept far away from their loved ones.
Many have expressed that they have no one who writes to them. Becoming a pen pal is a way to build social connections for prisoners and letting them know that they are not forgotten. CCF hosts regular orientations for people interested in writing to prisoners on the significance of joining this program, the responsibilities, the do’s and don’ts, and what to expect. If this sounds like you, become a pen pal today.
