Dear Friends and Supporters,

Last Friday, two of our staff members and impacted family members, Mariam Abu Ali and Reem Jayyousi, appeared on  the Radio Islam show to discuss NCPCF’s annual families’ conference.  According to Reem, “you hear from mothers, sons, daughters, and everyone who is struggling in their own way […] but together we are empowered and united.”

We’re excited to announce that we’re officially set for the weekend of October 6-8 at the beautiful Diyanet Center in the Washington, D.C. area! Unfortunately, we still need funds cover transportation costs for family members who can’t afford it. Many of our attendees are mothers and children whose primary breadwinner is now unjustly behind bars.

As many of you know, NCPCF is the only organization of its kind that provides direct and crucial support for U.S. prisoners and families targeted post-9/11 in our government’s “war on terror.” Our conference programming includes meditation and prayer, psychosocial support, youth counseling, know-your-rights workshops, as well as advocacy and campaigning skills sessions.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us meet our goal! Your act of solidarity will show family members that they aren’t alone. We can only do it with your support and generosity. The situation is urgent! To make the 2017 conference successful, we still need to raise $12,000. Please consider donating $500, $250, $100 or any other amount to help us empower families and stand up to government repression! All donations are zakat-eligible and tax-deductible (Tax ID 45-1653796).

Thank you in advance!

In solidarity,
The NCPCF Team
